Teleflex Gauges

Crew
I have fairly new (early 2000's) Teleflex gauges and have a query re 2 of them. The rev counter rests at 700 revs when the engine is at rest, and the engine cooling water gauge rests at 130 degrees. Is this usual; do I need to have the gauges re-calibrated; can this be done? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Cheers. Bill

What happens when you turn the engine switch to on, but don't start it (cold engine)? My rev counter remains where it was last when the engine was switched off, but will jump to zero when it is switched on.
