Erspatcher airD8LC Thermostat malfunction.

I have a Erspatcher airD8LC diesel heater in our boat. I turn on the switch to a certain temperature and it quickly heats boat up to that temperature. It then switches the heater off and it fails to turn it back on when the boat cools down.
Any ideas out there what I should look at first? Thanks. J:
