CCA / MCA requirement for a Perkins 4/154M?

Can anyone give me the recommended minimum CCA / MCA requirement for the starting battery for a Perkins 4/154M.

Mr Google has failed me on this.

Any group 31 starting battery should do it nicely.

The trouble is that my battery box will only take a group 24 size battery. The old one had a MCA of 1000 and the best I can find here in Martinique is rated at 665.
