Battery chargers & inverters

Hi all, I have a 1974 Islander 30 MK II and am just starting working on the electrical system. I have a Readi Amp 8 #00592 charger and a Topaz inverter #09234. Does anyone have an owner's manual for either. They are probably part of original equipment,,,,,,,any help is appreciated,,,many thanks and happy sailing

After nearly 40 years it may be time to upgrade the charger. I doubt that charger will be very good for battery life compared to a modern 3 stage charger. As far as the inverter (assuming you need one) if it works and powers what you want to it might be ok.

ran across your post as i am trying to find a manual for my readi amp 8. we are in moss landing. i am trying to figure out if the charger works or not. if you have advice or know where i can find the manual, please let me know.

Hey there,,,,,,,,my Readi-Amp 8 is still working just fine and as such I have not replaced it. I did sometime ago run across a basic owner's manual for the unit. I have it on pdf but can't seem to upload it to this site, if you want send me a message with an email address and I'll forward to you,,,,,,
