Re: Palmer 60 Electronic Ignition

It seems your choice of electronic ignition module is related to the type of distributor on your P60.
There are EI modules that replace the Delco and Prestolite distributors here: Electronic Ignition--Now available in a Complete Co-It-Yourself Retrofit Kit
and here:
Moyer Marine Atomic 4 Engine Rebuilding and Parts

I'd suggest you call either of these outfits to verify that their EI kit will work for your P60.

Re: Palmer 60 Electronic Ignition

It would be interesting to know how did it go with switching to electronic ignition...

Also, I would appreciate if you (or some other member) could advise me which type and grade of oil need to be used for the gear box on Palmer P60?

Thank you,
Zarko

Re: Palmer 60 Electronic Ignition

My Atomic 4 likes me to use Rotella T 30W oil.
Not the same engine but similar.
