LED Light Project for Sailboat
 
I installed some "rope lights" this weekend, although the LEDs are more like ribbon lights. Here is some video of the project on Youtube:

What struck me about these LEDs is how bright they are and how little current they use. I have only measured the current use for the entire 16 foot string, but I would guess that the small circle that I installed into the fixture would only use around .2 amps, but is as bright as the 1 amp bulb I took out.

hey, i love your lights.. Where did you find them and do you have a transformer.

i had some led strips and they all needed transformers.. the transformers got VERY hot.
