AGM Mounting positions

When I said 'close to what I was thinking' I just meant the position of the battery. Can you mount one that way in a box? Also, is there anywhere to get a copy of ABYC standards without paying a ridiculous amount?

The previous batteries were wet cells stuffed in a compartment (not 'mounted' at all), with a charger set for AGM batteries, and the previous owner had never added any water to them! They had to go! The electrical system was the most ridiculous and dangerous rats nest of wiring I'd ever seen. It was scary! I ripped out all the old wiring and built a new panel. I'm now working on rewiring with the correct cable to the correct points with properly cared for batteries. And some upgrades while I'm at it!
