Airmar Fast heading and Raymarine e127

I am looking to add a fast heading sensor to a Raymarine e127 for MARPA and Radar overlay. The Airmar H2183 comes in two flavors NMEA2000 or NMEA183. Has anyone installed this unit with the new e127 MFD? It looks simple enough.
