tacktick micronet display stuck on

My (Tacktick) micronet mn100 display for wind speed and direction won't shut off. While sailing today the display changed to "TEST End", and the arrow pointed to about 135 degrees starboard. Now, when I hold down the down arrow button for 2 seconds, it doesn't shut off. I also tried holding down the dot button (second from left), both momentarily, and for two seconds. That also didn't shut down the instrument.

Has anyone else seen this? How can I get the display off? When I get it off, and then turn it on again, will it revert to showing the wind speed?

Have you been on to Raymarine? Is the MN100 the one with the battery or the 12 volt supply?

Re: tacktick micronet display stuck on

I haven't yet posted the problem to Raymarine.

The mn100 uses solar cells and an internal battery. I think it's 9 volts but I've never had to look at it. The solar cells have always worked.
