Datamarine Corinthian s200dl Depth sounder display

Hi all. I know there are some other threads on this subject but they are pretty old now. My transducer works fine and I don't want to replace it if it can be avoided, but my display is wonky. I'm wondering the following:

1. Anybody have a S200dl display for sale? This would be the best solution in my opinion, but I'm having trouble finding one on eBay etc.

2. Anyone know of a successful connection between a S200DL (RCA jack style) transducer and another brand of display, such as the Raymarine 40/60 etc. The manual on my S200DL says it is putting out 210 Khz. Many of the new units are 200khz so this may be a problem. A boat like mine named Maine Sail posted some info on the Raymarine displays with old transducer on his refit, but he said his transducer was 200 Khz.

3. Has anyone used a fish finder as a reliable replacement for a standard depth sounder?

I'm aware of DMI Inc and have been communicating with them. The replacement of the S200DL display with a refurbished unit will cost me $350+ shipping which is the reason for by post. After I get it to where I'm at, which is Roatan, Honduras, the costs will be pushing $500 for an old depth sounder.
