Apelco Loran/GPS w/ no wires

About a year ago hoping one day to have a sailboat I bought a used Apelco Loran/GPS 6700 for about $50. It came with a white dome looking thing mounted on a board with about 50-60 feet of wire that has a 6 hole connector on the end which I assume connects to a 5 pin jack labeled GPS. Does the antenna jack on the GPS have to be connected to something and if so any certain type of antenna? Since Apelco is no longer doing business where can I get a 6 pin wire harness to connect the 12VDC power?
