That's wonderful news. Now the entire rest of the world won't have to change their system from the default USA-centric English system using "feet" to the otherwise universal metric system.

Funny they let you change, depth, speed, distance from standard or metric but then leave you hanging on height. Hopefully they'll get it right with the update.
