Good reference list. This is the old download as the list does not have the current user programmed channels listed correctly for the units sold in the last few years. Looks like ICOM never updated the list so that might be why they don't include this one anymore.

They still do include that list with new shipped radio's as well as an addendum with the new ITU simplex channels and the 160 user channels. The list of user channels is also available in their on-line document, "M802 Channels".

It's much easier (and accurate) to have the dealer load the latest list electronically into the radio than program the new list by hand. I don't know what they charge for this service however.

Yes, that's true. As a licensed service tech who has the software, Iv'e done it a few times. A dealer shouldn't charge you anything as it takes less than a minute to do.

The frequency table can be found here at
docksideradio
copy and paste from the web page to put it into a spreadsheet.

Re: Icom 802 factory programmed groups/frequencies

There is a python program available free from Paul Lutus to program most icom radios. Not for the beginner, but it works well - I can reprogram 100 frequencies in about 11 seconds.
Can't post links here - but do web search for icomprogrammerII and Lutus
