ST50+ Speed display

On saturday my display just went blank and started to beep.
Inside, on my ST50 multi display the trip is et to --- so is the Nm total ( ---), the beaufort scale on the multi shows ---.
Outside all other displays work correctly.

Questions: Is the problem in the electronic of the st50+ Speed display ?
Has anyone any experience or idea where such old unit is still
available ?
Has anyone ever replaced a ST50+ display by e.g. ST60 display
using the old ST50+ transducer ?

Looking forward to your comments.
Thank you
Jollysailor

RichH will become famous soon enough
--- & --- is common symptom of low voltage.

Check out the voltage AT the instrument connections with a voltmeter ... .

Hi Rich,

will follow your advice and test it out tomorrow.
But .... all other ST50 displays connected behind the speed and ,as the speed is, powered by the Seatalk work fine.
