does anybody know how to intergrate the Kenwood TK-80 and Smartuner SG-230 with each other?

not sure what you are trying to do, as most of the 230s just plug in and work as advertised, a bit pricey (IMHO). SGC has a decent web site and tech support.

RF in, Antenna out...ground plate or radials if you can, if not usually not a big deal. I have found that you can use just about any piece of metal and it will radiate, and tune it.

Some of the older rigs may not let you tune at full power, so there are some tricks to "pre-tune" and then go full power.
