Autohelm 4000+ fixed...yea!

A big thanks to whomever put me on to Dan from Colorado who fixed my Autohelm in short order. I was getting the famous "low battery" warning. Well I traced it and found there was something wrong with the head unit. I sent it to Dan (who also has many Autohelm NOS parts) and he found it had 5 bad power transistors and a bad integrated circuit chip. Fixed...done. 2 week turnaround including shipping from MA.

Dan fixes Autohelms as a hobby and charges very reasonable rates!

PM me if you want his contact info as I'm not sure it would be okay to post it.
If a moderator reads this please let me know if I can post it.

Cheers,
Brian

Hi Chance,

Here's the problem. I 'm sailing on vacation in my Maine for the next 10 days and of course that info is at home.
He often has "autohelm" parts for sale on ebay so you may have for luck. Finding him that way.

Sorry...I will get it to you when I get home.

Brian
