I wrote small software:
Personal Sail Compuer Lite is FREE mobile software for all sailors and other nautical enthusiasts, who wants some statistics on boat speed and angle of sailing against wind and target. It uses built-in GPS receiver of mobile device for tracking boat position, Wind and Target data can be input manually. Inovateive display provides all important data on one composite Graphical Display. Speed graphs and polar graphs are provided in LITE version for last 30 minutes.

So what phone OS does it work on? I may have missed it but could not find any info on the website that says what it was written for. Kind of important.....

Sorry, it is important: It's written in Java for j2me platform it uses Java Location API. More on platform compatibility is here.
