Navionics Platinum Plus Charts worth it?

Do you guys think the Navionics Platinum Plus Chart chips are work the money?

I have a Raymarine A57D chartplotter and sail in the waters around Hilton Head SC where waters are very tidal and sandbars rule.

Was thinking of this addition.

Not sure of the vintage of the a series but I have the c 435i and my experience has been that it cant handle the data volumes and crashes out on range changes.
