SSB wire antenna to antenna feed-line connector

System description
ICOM M710, AT130 tuner in the aft lazarette, fishing rod pole antenna.

I need a practical connection for quick and easy plug -in/off of the fishing rod antenna. I was thinking of a PL-259 with just he central pin soldered to the fishing-rod antenna wire and a correspondant wall-socket on the boat's side.

Any suggestion?
