Garmin GPS to Raymarine VHF

Hi All,

I have a Raymarine VHF which will take NMEA 1.5 to read incoming GPS info. (for a DSC distress calling and location poling ) And I have a Garmin 72h GPS which puts out NMEA 2.3. I have cables, plugs and wiring diagrams that can connect them all but they are basic.

Secondly, I also have a Raymarine seatalk box which feeds my autohelm with info from the log etc. Would be great to feed it with GPS from the Garmin too. Do-able?

Or maybe both these projects can be combined? Feeding GPS to seatalk and then outputting GPS info to VHS?
