E32 Cabin Sole Tank

Looking for some identification help.....in my 1981 E32 there is a tank under the forward cabin sole access hatch. It's pretty big, probably over 40 gal I am guessing. It is no longer connected to anything, previous owner has put in new head waste tank under the v berth and there is a new water tank under the v berth too which looks newer. Can anybody tell me if this is the original water tank? It looks too big to be the head waste tank. Does anyone see a problem in removing it? Additional storage space there would be nice to have.

Re: E32 Cabin Sole Tank

No idea here.....on my '81 there isn't much room below the cabin sole forward of the deep bilge area in front of the engine, maybe 8"clear at max. The water tank under the forward part of the V berth and the holding tank on the port side of the V berth were standard on my boat.

Pics?
