E35 Help...

Hi all, I am a proud owner of a E35. We have had the boat for 4 years now and love her. I have recently noticed some "soft spots" in the ceiling around the mast. Doing a ceiling finger push test is showing that its about 2 feet all the way around the mast. Now I don't know what to do. I'm nervous about sailing her for structural integrity reasons. Can anyone give me some advice. Will I need to take down the mast ? Is this an insurance deal? Thanks in advance for any help. Don
