Re: General discussion

My next question:

The sliding bunk mechanism on my port side settee is long since removed. I'd like to put it back. Any E32 owners able to post a few pics of a working installation?

Thanks,

R

So how's everyone's summer Endeavour sailing season going?

Re: General discussion

Not enough sailing so far for me......and the summer months aren't the best for sailing here - too hot. Also, I'm replacing the holding tank and all of the hoses and it has turned into a much more involved task than I had expected! Hopefully over the next couple of weekends I can get it wrapped up.

Re: General discussion

I've been playing hookey a lot, and have been out several times a week. Summer is relatively short here, and I am taking full advantage.

Re: General discussion

Mario,

Any chance you could get me those settee pics? I'd would be grateful as I'd like to get going on this.

I presume there is a fiddle on the font edge of the "shelf" to keep the cushion from sliding off the way mine does ALL THE TIME. Is there any kind of leg(s) under the bunk as is slides out, or is it completely cantilevered from the blocks at each end of the slider.

Thx.

R

Re: General discussion

As I am forever tweaking the shape of the jib, and moving a block clipped to the toerail is a pain in the neck, I picked up two 6 ft sections of track plis nice jib cars at the local marine salvage place. I figure I mount them right next to the toerail between the two stanchions that are aft of the shrouds and forward of the cockpit. Any reason not to? A better spot? Inboard?

A picture is worth more than my few words:

Re: General discussion

That is about where the tracks are on our 37. So far one short trip and very little sailing. We only used them where the previous owner had them when we got the boat. I think it will be a good upgrade for you though,

Re: General discussion

Thanks Sumner. Yes indeed, as much as I fiddle with the jib, the cars are a total bonus.

I kind of find it funny that my boat has been around for more than 30 years, and it never had a bunch of stuff installed that I would now consider "basic."

Re: General discussion

Folks,

I am about to get going with remaking the port side slider fo under the settee berth. I am guessing that there is some kind of fold down leg under the aft end of the slider. Can anybody take a couple of pictures, esp pictures with a tape measure in them? MarioG?

Thanks E owners,

R
