Next project - Ice Box drain - 1981 E37 plan B

Greetings

so, ice box drain. pump impeller shot. replaced. pump runs great. however in testing I found out no amount of water was going through the pump.

after thinking things over I decided to find out where all this water was going

of course it didn't take long to see all that water was going in the bilge

now, here is the $$$ question

how the heck do I get to the bottom of the ice box to find the leak. I have no doubt it is leaking at the ice box drain or close to it.

Mine have always been designed to go into the bilge! A couple quarts of water is no big deal.

They were designed to drain to the bilge sump. I rerouted ours to a sump box that also takes care of the AC condensor, fridge and deep freeze.

then why the pump, breaker, and hoses that lead overboard!!



and the breaker that is one the panel looks original
