E-32 Winches

Hello fellow Endeavour-ites.....I'd like to get some from you on your sheet winches. I have a pair of Lewmar 30's on Moon, non self-tailing, and I have been thinking about upgrading to a pair of self-tailers when my income tax refund comes through. I single hand a lot, and although I've gotten pretty good at steering with a foot while I use both hands on the jib sheet when I tack, it would be nice to make this a little easier to do.

My question is, if I take the plunge on new gear, should I stick with the size 30 winches or spend a few more bucks to go up a size to 40's? And what are your thoughts on / experiences with Lewmar vs Anderson vs Harken?

Self tailing is sweet, two speed is fantastic.

I wouldn't think you would need to go up to a 40 size winches unless you have trouble trimming the head sail you have with the lewmar 30's you already have.
