Wanted: Seahood for E-29!

Does anybody have an old seahood for an Ericson 29? If damaged, that's ok, I may be able to repair.

Thanks,

Matt

Matt, I have a new fiberglass seahood from a mold I built for a Bristol seahood. It will accomadate a 26" w x 42" l x 4" h hatch. It has a bridge molded at the aft end for a traveller for midboom sheeting. It can be cut down for a shorter hatch or if you have your mainsheet at the end of your boom. It has camber to fit a curved cabintop . I can e-mail photos if you are interested. scottwatts@seaworthysolutions.biz

if you're handy, you can build your own! My husband is building a seahood for our Ericson 35' Mk II. Watch our blogs for updates - he just started recently and we'll be posting pictures of the updates.

Seahood follow up

Merry Christmas!

Thanks for writing back on the thread that I sent out about the seahood.

I went to your blog and took a good hard look at your photos of Justin building the seahood.

Are you folks willing to answer some detailed q and a?

I am befuddled by the crown of the cabin top and how to attach to the same. Fillet expoxy work would sold some of the curve issue and certainly the water tight integrity, but getting to the main hatch would require major surgery.

How did you folks solve the devilish details?

Sincerely,

Matt W.

All is well

Read, reviewed, studied and built my own...very happy with it.

I encourage others to do the same.
