ericson 29 in Tampa Bay

There isn't enough Ericson love on these forums. We acquired Yankee in December 2010 and have been repairing, tweaking, loving, sailing, and upgrading her since.

po bought this to replace it...but it didn't fit anywhere.

so i cut this on the waterjet:

and countersunk some holes:

installed all the good bits from the other one and brought it aboard:

Nice job! What do you do that you have a water jet? By the way, i have an Ericson 27.....

Good Gravey--With that many switches did you have to raise the water line after your rewired that boat? A 29? Nice yacht tho'.

I have access to the waterjet through a friends family business. (good to have friends) I drew up the panel in CAD and took it over one saturday with some steaks.

haha, things are just broken up a little more than they used to be. Some things weren't even switched...if you can make out the labels you can see it's pretty standard.

also there was a household style AC breaker box under the galley sink that looked like it had been submerged for 10 years. The AC system was 'condemned" by the surveyor. The first column on our panel is AC breakers and the left two are DC breakers.

Couldn't resist pulling your leg. Very nice work. Do you take orders?

My wife and I fell in love with the Ericson 29

It feels like a nice boat, and we must decide if I want to tackle a soft deck repair.
Our friends performed a "deckomity" on their Ericson 32 and their boat looks and feels fantastic. You can search "abigail susan" to see a short time lapse video on youtube.
