N.e Florida Spring Fling

Probably in April I will host a SPRING FLING BBQ just outside of Jax Florida. If anyone has an interest in attending they are more than welcome. Last fall we did a BBQ through CF, and we got a chance to meet some nice people. I am still taking request on dates, so don't be shy. Put your 2 cents in if you are interested ........i2f

Hey i2f, sounds like fun. I'll pipe in with dates when I get my spring work schedule, maybe next week.

Ajari,

I am at the Reynolds Park Yacht Center in Green Cove Springs. We have a nice facility for get togethers, and I have a couple of BBQ pits there too. It's an old naval facility for the mothball fleet. We don't have docks, but piers, and they are HUGE. You have probably seen them on the St. Johns River....i2f

We've been cruising out of the Green Cove area since 1972. I'd love to touch base with fellow cruisers,-probably know many of you, but we're headed to Maine for the summer begining April 1st. Cruising on our Morgan OI '73 out of Fleming Island Marina, formerly Whitney's Marina. 'take care and joy, Aythya crew

I thought the date was set

Now I am cornfuzed, I thought the date wuz the 26 of April?
About the docks. They all have some problems. I think the Renyolds Marina has a few slips available for short term. There are moorings at Green Cove Springs Marina. I will give anyone a ride over to the fling that wants to come by boat. It is real close to Renyolds.

John keep us advised on date and time. I am making Jalapeño Cornbread.

CaptainForce What sized O/I do you have?

Fair Winds

Dave

Capt Dave, I had a OI 33' that I lived aboard from 1973 to 1985 and then a 41' from 1985 to present. We were at Whitneys in Orange Park from '81 to '02, but now we are fulltime cruising. ' sorry to be away for the fling, Stewart on board Aythya
