Time to travel

Hi all. Anyone here sail Corpus Christi to the Keys? Im looking at crusing the coast that way and am wondering how much time I should allot for travel... while still being somewhat leisurely. thanks. Heck, from there I just might not come back.

A couple of years back I sailed from Kemah to the Keys, ended up taken 11 days, had some bad weather on the way. Being singlehanded I elected to go straight across.
