Sailing around Pensacola

Does anyone have any suggestions for a five-day float plan departing and returning to Pensacola, Florida? We are bareboat chartering soon and need destination ideas.... Thanks! - W

A good plan will depend on what you like to do. I'd hit up Active Captain. Develop a tentative plan. Do you want to anchor and enjoy nature all five days, or pull into great venues for wine and song and hot showers every day? The intracoastal is great from Mobile Bay to the west, Pensacola Bay in the center, and Choctawhatchee Bay to the east for five days of sailing and gunkholing, or sailing and fine dining. Kinda crisp whether in this area this time of the year.

Thanks for your help! I think we'd like to head east to the Choctawhatchee Bay, anchoring one night and enjoying warm showers the other three nights. Can you suggest a marina or two around the bay? Thank you very much!!
