Melbourne, FL marina recommendations

We are looking for a place to keep our 27 ft (4ft draft) sailboat in the Melbourne area, any suggestions?

Just looked at a boat yesterday at Waterline Marina. Seemed ok.

I'm at Anchorage Marine, nice folks, convenient for going out on day sails, well protected, at NE corner of Eau Gallie causeway.

I haven't been there yet, I'll check it out.

How are the staff there? Do they keep an eye on things pretty well?

I actually drove by there once, but left because it seemed really unkept when I was there. I will give it a more thorough going over before we bring the boat down, though. You aren't the first person to comment that we should check it out, so maybe I rushed to judgement.

We were thinking about Telemar Bay, but I've had 2 or 3 people advise me to look elsewhere.

Not sure what you mean by the staff keeping an eye on things. There haven't been any theft problems or anything of that nature in the couple of months I've been here.

We're currently at Cape Marina in Port Canaveral. The staff is great and they have a great DIY yard should you need to haul out. They have great staff and great facilities. Only downside is their internet sucks (important for us liveaboards) and their DIY yard is dirt which makes painting your boat a bit challenging. BUT, if you are looking for a slip only it's great. You have to have a code to get in after hours as well.
