Naples/Fort Myers sailboat country

It's time to come home. I'm selling my Nassau house and am ready to come back to the USA. I can put up with island time for only so long and "We nawmaly carry dot, but we out of stock right now" is getting very old. 42% import duty an item and shipping also gets old. I have been looking on the net in the Naples/Fort Myers area and seen a lot of places I might like, like Marco Island and Isles of Capri. There are lots of places with boat docks but I am concerned about the absence of sailboats in all the pictures. Is there anyone out there who can give me a heads up about places where the waters are sailboat friendly. I have an Islander Freeport 41 and draw 5 feet.

Thanks for any input.

Hey, I am a bit north of Ft. Myers in Punta Gorda. I have a home for 2/2/2 pool home with dockage for 65' sailboat and 6' depth maintained by the city of Punta Gorda. Drop me a PM with your email and I will send info and a visual tour if you think Punta Gorda would work for you. You can go to latsandatts.com forum and look for SW Florida home for sale under free classified ads for info.
Thanks,
Randy

P.S. I can't PM or add attachments because I an new to the forum.
