Short term Tampa mooring?

Hi, we’ll be arriving on our boat in Tampa to attend a class sometime between March 18 -23 and will be staying for about a month. We would prefer a slip so we could have the AC but any info on moorings, dingy docks, bathrooms, bottom conditions, security, etc. would be greatly appreciated. Thank you all, Mike.

Just a possibility. I had picked up a boat down here a couple years ago and these guys were very, very helpfull. They had slips and moorings. Not sure if any are available but worth checking into. Seriously nice people!

I'm just getting intro sailing so I'm not the final authority in the area but I don't know of a marina in Tampa proper with facilities. Treck is right the guys at TSS (Apollo Beach 1/2 hour drive to Tampa) are a super bunch but they don't have transient docks. The closest I know of is St. Petersburg Municipal Marina. Try this link Transient Dock
