My family is coming to ft desoto in April and would appreciate any advice regarding a daysail and/or any local info as we are driving down for a conference. Thanks

So are you camping at the park? Or are you staying somewhere near there? You can rent sailboats in St. Petersburg, which is pretty close. I don't think there's anyplace to rent a boat that is actually in the park.

Yes we are camping. Any idea on the rental rates? In the past when we've traveled I've walled the docks and paid a gratuity or bought supplies in exchange for a little time under sail.
