Teak Cockpit Floor Kit

Where can I find a teak cockpit floor kit?

Jim Watson

Tom Wood responds:

There are several companies that offer them, the most widely available seemingly being AFI (formerly American Foreign Industries). AFI is now part of Marinco/Nicro/AFI, 2655 Napa Valley Corporate Dr., Napa, CA. 94558, tel. (707) 226-9600, fax (707) 266-9670, and www.marinco.com. Their catalog offers three different sizes and thickness of grating kits.

The best place to purchase these kits is from a discount mail order house. The SailNet Store will be able to special order the exact parts you need. Call 1-800-234-3220 to contact a specialist in the store that will be glad to assist you.
