Locate a Heat Strip

In This Old Boat, a heat strip board for bending acrylic is mentioned.  However,  I've checked in hardware stores and cannot find the heat strip or any heating element anywhere. Nat Adams Don Casey responds: Nat, You won't find a heat strip in most hardware stores. But any good-size acrylic supplier will carry this item. Cost should be around $30. Look in the yellow pages under Plastics,Sheet. They may not be available in smaller towns but should be easy to locate in larger cities.  If not, try the Internet. Anyone who deals in acrylic will be familiar with this item. Don
