SailNet is on a distinguished road
Finding Fluorinated Polyurethane?

Do you know anything about using two-part fluorinated polyurethane for the hull above and below the waterline? I hear it's an alternative to traditional anti-fouling bottom paint.

SailNet responds:
Thanks for the question. We're aware of one company that manufactures the two-part fluorinated polyurethane paint, and claims that it has antifouling properties, but we're not familiar with the product. You might want to get in touch with the company directly. Here's the url for a website where you can find information on that company's products: www.21st-century-coatings-canada.com/marine.htm.

Best of luck to you.
