Ranger 28 - leakage issue..

I have a Ranger 28 circa 1976(?) and am having some leaking. I think it is in he inboard diesel prop area. Any ideas on how to confirm this? I am a long time sailor...but new to this boat.

IIRC there's a drain line that runs under the icebox to the bilge, that would take the water from the stuffing box area to that main bilge area.

I'd dry the boat out, and place a paper towel under the stuffing box gland.. if it stays dry and the water shows up elsewhere that will eliminate that possibility.. if not, there you are.

btw I moved your post to its own thread... you'll bet better responses that way
