What are these and how to use them?

I have two of these in each side of my HR28. My guess is they have something to do with deploying fenders. But what sort of connector fits into these? Thanks

I believe those would be for some kind of boarding ladder. How close together are they on each side?

I go along with Marcus, a friend has something like that on his pontoon boat for the boarding ladder.

Re: What are these and how to use them?

They are about 5' apart on each side. Almost ideally located to the fit fenders. Probably too wide for a ladder...

Mounting brackets for a TaylorMade folding boarding ladder.

If they are 5 feet apart, it's not for a ladder. Fenders.

Re: What are these and how to use them?

Thanks everyone. I have ordered a set of 4 . Curious though... Do they work? Any concerns about a fender coming loose at the peg?
