Dickinson Newport diesel heater

If anyone has one of these, any chance you could get a photo of what is inside the door? I think mine is missing bits (like the burner pot).

Hey Paul, the rain cap's on those heater's don't keep out the weather very well.
If there is something missing it may be because it got wet and those burner's don't like water, so the po may have just tossed it.
There is a cap that you can get that covers the cap you have on deck and keeps the rain out.
Are hauling it out today?

I expect that's what happened, or something similar. Hauling in about an hour, assuming I can actually a) get out of my slip, b) find the haul-out dock and c) actually manage to get the boat into it, in reverse, in this rather strong wind we have this morning. Should be, erm, entertaining.

Re: Dickinson Newport diesel heater

You should have asked me for a hand. I told Nikki I would be available. I can't make it out there in time now.

Re: Dickinson Newport diesel heater

Ah it was fine. Problem now it's the bloody rain stopping me doing anything
