Yanmar installation manual

Am getting ready to install a Yanmar 4JH3 TE
and am hoping to find a Yanmar installation
manual. Buy, borrow, or rent. Thanks.

Yanmar installation manual

You should be able to buy the manual from the same dealer that sold you the engine. If not, do a quick internet search for other Yanmar dealers. The manual will cost something like $75.

Buy Online?

I'm looking for this same manual. Does anyone know of anywhere online where you can buy Yanmar manuals? I can't find anything.

Thanks,
-Doug

I fitted a 4JH4E earlier this year. It's installation manual was one piece of A4. I bought the maintenance manual and parts list for a stupid price and they took months to come. I bought a replacement parts set too. Expensive and hardly anything in it (nie plastic box though). I went into a Yanmar dealer to get new filters for the first oil change - and had to order them.

I begin to wonder about my choice of Yanmar.

Thanks for the reference SD. Pity it only goes as far as the 1998 model. Still a lot might be common.

I'm looking for the 3YM30. Although I've read in a few places that Yanmar has a generic manual for Marine Engine Installation. Strange that I can't find a copy online though - are the dealers not allowed to sell online, or do they just not do it?

Here's another place for a manual for a few more Yanmars.
