Spotless Stainless/Some Products Just Work!

I have really grown to love this product. My venerable hook knife was never cleaned properly after its last use and got stowed wet with salt.

How I found it this spring:

I simply brushed on Spotless Stainless and let it sit for a few hours. All I did was brush it on and make sure it stayed wet during this time. That's it...... No scrubbing, no buffing & no polishing.

This is what it looks like this morning:

Just a very happy customer!!!

How nice to find a product that works as advertised. Anymore, that seems a rarity. I will remember this testimonial.

Man, that's impressive! So being the amazonaholic that I am, I found a link...
Code:
amazon.com/Spotless-Stainless-1-Qt/dp/B00AY0BONI/ref=pd_sim_sbs_sg_2
A Quart for $32.99, also available in pint size for $19.99

Gah! Stupid post count limits when trying to post a link!

Re: Spotless Stainless/Some Products Just Work!

We've been using it on our rigging and deck hardware as well. Make sure to not let it dry. If you do it gets chalky and the stuff looks worse for the wear about a day or so after you rinse it off. Immediately it looks ok, but the next day not so much. We talked to the company and if it does dry just add more and then rinse it off before that layer dries. When applied correctly we've been very happy with it!

Long ago when I was a young private in the Army, we used Coca-Cola to clean chrome. Worked great but this looks awesome

I've had good results too. But I'm glad to hear the tip about not letting it dry. That's helpful. I wonder if you can wrap it in plastic to keep it wet?
