I have a 1988 Catalina 30. I''m looking to replace the fiberglass piece that screws down just over where you stand while steering, just behind the steering column. It measures about 1.5 feet long, and about the same wide. It seems standard to most of the models I''ve seen, and the emergency tiller is run through it.

Where can I get replacement parts like this???

Try Catalina Direct they are a large Catalina distributor in Sacramento CA. or you can call Catalina Yachts, they are in Woodland Hills, CA and have a parts department that deals with owners. Most boats have a round waterproof hatch over end of rudder shaft, this is fairly common part and either of the above should be able to help.
