Hi,

I wonder if the previous owner did a gel coat repair with fibre glass filler or (if it is really as grey in colour as it seems on the picture) with car body filler. Looks like its been sanded around the repair.

I dunno, several repairs on my boat were gray as well... I've noted that interlux watertight is blue/gray when it dries. But yeah, I'd also say it was a gelcoat repair of come sort. Could be interprotect (but should not be up that high).

Probably someone filled a gouge.

8 years on a trailer? It's been knocked and patched, almost for sure. It certainly doesn't look serious.
