Inflatable Dinghy, adding a bench seat

Currently our West Marine inflatable dinghy does not have a bench seat, anywhere, just a flat board bottom. I like to add two bench seats either made of wood (painted and smooth) or maybe King Starboard and some how attach to the inflatable rubber tube material. That is where I am not sure what is the best solution is the attachment of the bench seat to the dinghy.
Has anyone added a seat to their inflatable and if so, how did you attach it to the dinghy rubber material?

Thanks!

My inflatable also has an inflatable seat. Basically a sausage you jam between the tubes, you can probably buy one online somewhere.

A cooler could make a nice seat if it's sized correctly. Nice for storing a little anchor and bits. Plus it's nice to put the bags of ice in if you have to schlep them out.

That would be known as a thwart I believe. We have one for me when we take an extra long ride and I don't want to sit on the tube. My wife sits on the dinghy's aluminum seat usually.

Don't they also make glue-on mounts that a solid seat can be attached to?

Glue a patch of Velcro to the tube and to the seat.

That's how Achilles does it!
