Adjust rigging on AMF/Alcort Trac 14

I recently bought a AMF Trac 14 catamaran and the previous owner showed me how to rig it, but when we had it up the stays seemed very loose (several inches of play), and there are no adjusters on them.

He said he sailed it like that and had no issues. Does anyone have info on how to adjust the rig, or do I just make sure I don't do an uncontroleld jibe and wreck my rigging?

Re: Adjust rigging on AMF/Alcort Trac 14

here is a manual for the 16 it might help you the rig should not be tight but not floppy loose also http://www.thebeachcats.com/files/trac_16.pdf
you should ask the same question on thebeachcats.com site

"FULL TILT II" 2011 BENETEAU FIRST 30
"FULL TILT" SOVEREL 33
"GOLD RUSH" PRINDLE 16

Re: Adjust rigging on AMF/Alcort Trac 14

I "inherited" a Trac 14 when we bought a house in upstate NY. They are no longer manufactured in the US, AMF having sold the rights to Windrush Cats in Australia. I found an owner's manual and rigging guide at

Windrush Catamaran Association of WA

Happy sailing!
