Dodger window spots

I can''t find an answer in the archive to this one.

My clear windows in the dodger have black spots on them. They don''t rub off and I tried a mild cleaner and that didn''t work.

Anyone know what this could be and how I might get them removed?

Thanks!

If you''re seeing black spots on your dodger windows, it''s time to give up drinking absinthe and switch to ouzo.

You might try plastic polish. Try it on a small corner first. If it looks like it won''t harm the window, then try using it to gently rub out the spots.

Use 3M or Maguires - "Clear Vinyl Cleaner" followed by "Clear Vinyl Polish". Buy them in an auto supply store. Used to clean/polish vinyl windows of Jeeps and convertibles.

The spots are probably either air-pollution deposits or "artillery fungus". Both are usually worse during prolonged periods of wet weather.
