Flexifold and strut

First off how does one remove this propeller?

Second, sorry about not having a picture that shows more but after I took the picture I got to thinking that this home made strut may not be as strong as it should be.

They guy put on a much longer shaft so he could fit a larger prop.
You can pretty much make out the size of the new strut.

The unsupported section is maybe two feet.

I suspect it is strong enough to drive the boat I'm just thinking that even a minor event like a prop wrap will bend it causing immediate failure.

1.- Remove the zinc.
2.- Remove the cover plate.
3.- Remove the set-screws that secure each blade pivot pin.
4.- Drive out the pivot pins.
5.- Remove the blades.
6.- Remove prop nut set screw
7.- Back the prop nut off but do not remove.
8.- Put a deep socket on the nut, then attach prop puller.
9.- Remove prop.
