Who makes this hinge?

Trying to find a hinge to replace the broken one on my propane locker. Anyone know where I can find this one?

Re: Who makes this hinge?

Remove it and see if there is a name or logo stamped into the back.

Maybe seadog? I just replaced some on my powerboat made by them I it looks familiar? There was a rack of different hinges at a marine store in everett wa "harbor marine" I believe they have a online store.

Re: Who makes this hinge?

Can you just get two from somewhere else, rather than trying to match them?

For example:
Cabinet Hardware

Nope, I looked at all the hinges on the Seadog web site. It's not there.

That's my second choice. I would like to find the exact match if possible so all the holes line up. I hate putting new holes in my boat.

Nope, no exact matches there either. This hinge is pretty distinctive with three screw holes in a triangle on the small side of the hinge. Also, there are points on each end of the hinge. Most of the strap hinges I see have rounded ends.

Re: Who makes this hinge?

Found it!

Chatfield Marine hinge

Thanks to Thumper at Pacific Seacraft for coming through on this one!

For Pacific Seacraft owners, this is the hinge for the propane locker on the Pacific Seacraft 34.
