gel coat repair

Hello

I scratched my gel coat trying to dock alone.
I am hoping i can fix the scratch myself it is not too deep and appears to be cosmetic how to i fix it and what do i need
I am not sure how to upload a picture via my smartphone

go to your local chandlery/west marine...
ask them for a gelcoat repair kit, just have to grind the area out a bit, clean it thoroughly with acetone, match the color, add hardener, mix thoroughly, apply it to the area needed, and fallow instructions on the package... easy peasy...

I viewed this about 100 times before I started messing with gelcoat repairs. Once you match the color, it really is as easy as it looks.
